These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Slow Hello app ("the app"), provided by Urban Algorithm LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The service
Slow Hello lets you write a short message, split it into one word a day, and record a daily video clip that is later stitched into a single gift video. The app runs locally on your device and is provided to you free of charge.
Your content
You own your recordings, your written messages, and everything you create with the app. We do not claim any rights to your content, and because the app stores your content locally on your device, we never receive it. You are responsible for the content you record and for having permission from anyone who appears in your clips.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the app only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to use the app to create or share content that is unlawful, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others, and not to misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that your content will be preserved. Because your content is stored only on your device, you are responsible for keeping your own backups.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Urban Algorithm LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Since the app is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is zero.
Changes to the app and these Terms
We may update, change, or discontinue the app or these Terms at any time. If we revise these Terms, we will update the date above. Your continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Urban Algorithm LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles.
